The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the AIPMT entrance examination for the persons who like to study the medical courses like the MBBS, BDS and various other medical courses. If the candidates passed the medical entrance exam conducted by the colleges that run under the State Governments, Municipal or the other local authorities in India and except the states of the Andhra Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. AIPMT Selection Procedure
The AIPMT normally conducts the two rounds of tests for selecting the candidate for the course. First one is the preliminary exam and it has one paper that consists of 200 objective type questions and four answer options are given to each question. In that, the candidate needs to answer using the ball point pen. The 200 objective type questions are asked from the Physics, Chemistry and the Biology subjects. The time duration will be allotted to 3 hours. Those who qualify in the preliminary exam, they need to check for the Aipmt important Dates for main examination. The main and the final exam contains the two papers and each paper will be allotted to 2 hours time duration.
Main Written Examination Details
At the final exam, there will be two papers, the first paper will contains the questions from the subjects of Physics as well as Chemistry. The second paper set of questions is asked from both botany and the zoology. The main examination is not given in the objective type pattern. So that the candidates need to answer the questions in the answer book. The candidates need to select either the Hindi or else the English option for writing the exam. The candidates ask for the writing option while filling the application form itself. So that these options cannot be changed later. Eligibility Criteria for AIPMT Exam
For applying and writing the AIPMT entrance exam, the candidate has to complete the 17 years of age at the time of admission to the first year in the MBBS or else the Dental course. The maximum age limit for the person is below 25 years. Therefore, the age relaxation is valid for five years for the SC/ST candidates as well as sometimes it will be given for Other Backward classes also. Therefore, the age limit for applying the examination is not a permanent one and this can be differ from the state to state as per the rules and the regulations of the state. Both the Indian Nationals and the Foreign Nationals also eligible to write the examination. All the candidates should have the essential qualification of the 10+2 exam patterns for writing the exam and join the medical courses in the respected colleges. The candidates will be finished their 12th exam with PCB with English or Maths as the approved fifth subject and obtain at the minimum marks of 50 in the PCB subject.
